A night of songs by Ted Hearne, performed by the composer and firebrand pianist Lisa Kaplan.

Featured are piano/vocal versions of Hearne’s upcoming theatrical piece with poet Dorothea Lasky, simple and hypnotic settings that lovingly complicate binary structures of the personal and domestic. Also included are Hearne’s songs from Chana Porter’s musical play “We Are Radios,” work from his album “Outlanders” and arrangements of music by pioneering songwriter Elliott Smith.
