VOICE
Ted Hearne is a tenor specializing in contemporary music and ensemble work. In addition to sometimes performing his own music, he has recently premiered music of Hayes Biggs, Jacob Cooper, Reiko Futing, Matt Marks. He sang for five years with the Choir of St. Mary the Virgin in Times Square, under the direction of Robert McCormick, with whom he performed a wide range of liturgical music from the late Renaissance and Victorian eras. He has performed as a tenor with Peter Schreier, TACTUS, and the Joffrey Ballet.
Ted sings Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job from Katrina Ballads.
Ted sings his tweaked-out arrangement of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, accompanied by John Popham, Caroline Shaw, and Erin Wight.
Ted sings R We Who R We with Philip White, at the Dither Extravaganza at the Invisible Dog in July 2011.
Ted premiering the role of Justin in Jacob Cooper's opera Timberbrit.

Ted has been seen a pianist/keyboardist, performing contemporary music, accompanying choirs, vocalists and instrumentalists, and playing with bands. He's currently the pianist with his own band, Your Bad Self.
